Harvey Zabusky, Australian, is an experienced executive, professional, entrepreneur and a seasoned businessman. He operated over the past 40 years in executive roles in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Australia and the Asia Pacific Region. Broad academic base combined with strong leadership underpin his successful business career. Over the years Harvey undertook project planing and execution, and management of companies across number of industries, including construction, international trade and information communications technology. Harvey gained recognition as an ambitious, resourceful and goal getting executive with high level of commitment and integrity. In the past 22 years Harvey initiated and built entrepreneurial telecom and IT businesses in Australia, Asia Pacific Region, Europe and Africa. Harvey is a leading expert in billing, CRM and radio technologies especially wide-area satellite and multi-spectrum broadband wireless applications.
Adrian Wood, Australian, an information communications technology and international investment executive with senior management and leadership background experience throughout South East Asia, Europe, Africa and the Middle East. After studying Engineering, Adrian obtained B.Com degree majoring in marketing and a Master of Commerce degree (Business Admin, Law majors). Adrian is an expert with over 35 years experience in marketing, financial planning, budget control, P&L management, telecommunication infrastructure roll out, senior management recruitment, small to large employee group management, business optimisation, change management and corporate restructuring. From 1995 Adrian had a successful overseas career at direct line management and board level in complex, geographically and culturally diverse businesses, brand development, growth in regulated environments, capacity building capital raising and privatisations & IPOs. In that period Adrian served as CEO of a division of Telenor AS (the Norwegian national telecom carrier), Head, Merger & Acquisitions of a European spin-off from US West, pioneer Chief Executive Officer of MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd, director of entrepreneurial and consultancy projects in West Africa, Middle East, South East Asia and Europe.
Willem (Wim) Wessels, Dutch, is an experienced telecommunication business consultant, professional, and a successful entrepreneur. In the past 30 years Wim served successfully in the telecommunication industry, including 15 years in the global international carrier market. He is an expert in international carrier’s voice, mobile data services, network/transmission technologies and managed service solutions. In all his engagements Wim developed and drove growing sustainable financial metrics through business development, people motivation & leadership and customer sales engagement. Wim held various business development and sales positions with KPN/Ibasis Global Carrier Services in the Netherlands and Asia. In that capacity he was responsible to develop strategic partnerships, business growth of the international voice trade and mobile portfolio in Africa, Middle East and Asia. In recent years Wim served as the executive in-charge of driving an entrepreneurial start-up telecom provider in the Middle East to a successful ongoing concern. Wim is recognised as a passionate, energetic telecom expert with a strong focus on customer needs, excellence in networking, relationship building and sales and marketing, especially in Europe, Middle East, Africa and South East Asia.
Rodney Wayne, South African, a financial business executive with significant experience in numerous sectors of industry in financial, accounting and systems management, and since 2001 specifically in the telecoms and media sectors. Rodney holds a Bachelor of Business Accounting (Hons) degree and is a full member of S.A. Institute of Chartered Accountants. Rodney is widely experienced in strategic financial direction, policies and procedures and corporate governance, financial reporting including stock exchange and published accounts, treasury management, and banking relationships development and oversight. Since 1965 Rodney obtained senior management, board level and chief financial officer positions in South Africa and overseas with global organisations and major companies including MTN Nigeria Communications Ltd. His roles have included corporate finance transactions, due diligence assignments, mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt fund raising. Setting of financial framework, funding and cash flow management, internal audit, credit development, assessment and risk control. Board level business development, including company establishment, business plan development, sensitivity and performance assessments, detailed budgeting, management accounting and forecasts. Regulatory compliance, such as revenue/tax authority reporting and performance measurement, liaison with external auditors, external attorneys, telecom regulators, stock exchange announcements, company secretarial, and compliance with all statutory requirements.
Omotayo Emmanuel Abraham (Tayo), Nigerian, is an active resource with depth from the convergence of Financial and Technology competence. He has a strong background in Strategy, Business Intelligence and Analysis through a successful career of involvement with Information Technology. Tayo has over twenty five years’ experience, with an exposure in large scale Enterprise Infrastructure and Enterprise Information management technology deployment in the Financial and Oil & Gas Industries. From 1991 Tayo obtained senior management, executive and consultant positions in leading IT companies and financial institutions amongst First Bank of Nigeria PLC, AMCON and Galaxy Backbone PLC. Tayo had broad experience in Data Center and Network Infrastructure deployment, VSAT design and solutions, e-Government platform, Enterprise Wide messaging system, systems performance management and Metro Access Fiber network. Tayo holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Production Engineering degree and attends, throughout his professional career, numerous seminars and workshops to keep abreast with the latest trends in IT and telecommunication infrastructure and solutions.
